The alarm clock ringed at 2:30. I'm still sleeping in the bathroom to finish. At 3:30 am I sat in the car and drove through the silent night towards Hamburg Airport. The streets were empty, and I enjoyed the calm before the storm of a long trip day.
I reached the airport at 5:00. Check-in was quick, and after security checks, there was still time for a coffee. At 6:15 p.m., my flight departed to Munich. The sunrise over the clouds was a beautiful sight and helped to expel tiredness.
I had a short stay in Munich. After a small snack and some movement at the airport, my next flight started at 10:00 local time. The flight to Chicago was long, but I used the time to sleep and read.
At 12:30 local time (19:30 German time) I landed in Chicago. The entry was smooth. After a short refreshment break, it went to Orlando at 3:30. The flight was calm and I could relax.
At 20:08 local time I landed in Orlando. The hot and humid air felt like a blanket. After landing, I went to Melbourne, Florida. Finally, at 2:30 p.m. (9:30 German time), I fell into bed exhausted. The long day was over and I could finally enjoy the well-deserved tranquility. My adventure in Florida had begun.
