Wow, what an exciting day! At ⏰ 3:30 we flew from Orlando, Florida, to Texas for our football away game against Eastern Oklahoma State College. I can hardly believe that we really got up so early, but the anticipation kept us awake.💤
The atmosphere at the airport was great! Everyone was a little tired (sleep mask included), but there was still a lot of laughter and some final team strategies we discussed. The flight was really cool – the sunrise above the clouds was simply breathtaking!
Now that we have landed at Dallas-Lovefield, Texas National Airport, I feel really ready for the game. The weather is perfect, and the city looks totally exciting. After a quick snack, we continue directly to the venue in Wilburton, Oklahoma.
I can’t wait to stand on the pitch and show what we have on it! Go EFSC! ⚽🔥
See you later!

###Update: On September 20th we had an away game against Eastern Oklahoma State in Wilburton. Final reading: 0:0. The game was mega hard – I was even fouled blatantly, should have given loose red, but well, the Schiri saw it differently (only gave yellow). 🤕
Two days later, on September 22, we headed to Dallas for Dallas College Richland (Division 5 platter). That was much better: 3:2 victory! The return trip to Florida is now due to the need to prepare for another local derby. It will be intense, but we are ready!
