A magical day in Disney World Orlando – A Freshman on Adventure ..
Spontaneous decisions are often the best – this proved my unexpected visit to three other teammatesWalt Disney World Resort in Orlando. As a first semester student, I would certainly have a different mind, but when the opportunity came to immerse myself in the world of Disney magic, I could not resist.
Pandora – Avatar: Flight of Passage
The day started early because I knew thatAvatar: Flight of Passageis one of the most popular attractions in the Animal Kingdom. Already when enteringPandora – The World of Avatari was speechless. The floating mountains, the glowing green and the strange flora made me believe I really landed on a foreign planet.
After a longer waiting period (which was absolutely rewarded!) I finally sat on my banshee and flew through the stunning world of Pandora. The wind in the face, the smell of the forest and the incredible movability of the “animal” among me made this experience incredibly realistic. It was not just a ride – it was an adventure for all senses.
Altrausch on Expedition Everest
After this stunning experience I changed to the Asian areaAnimalto experience one of the most legendary roller coasters of the park:Expedition Everest – Legend of the Forbidden Mountain.
Even the sight of the enormous snow scene made my heart beat.
The train started its journey leisurely, but when the track ended abruptly and we razed backwards through the darkness, the adrenalinkick set in. The sudden encounter with the legendary Yeti was the crowning moment of shock. An incredibly exciting and perfectly staged experience!
