Three games in 10 days –20, 25 and 29. August. My first real “English Week” in College Soccer is done with it.
Finally, it was at home against theCrusaders, College of the Holy Crossfrom Worcester, Massachusetts – Patriot League and for American standards almost around the corner.
I stood again in theStarting line, and this time the result also fit. We were clearly the better team in the first half, made a lot of pressure and went deservedly in the lead. After the break, Holy Cross came back stronger and made it really exciting again towards the end.
But this time we brought this thing over time:2:1 – our first win of the season!
After the first two games, it is already pretty good to finally celebrate a victory together. And somehow such a success feels a bit better after three games within a few days.
