On April 13, I went to Orlando Health Hospital, Jewitt Orthopedic Institute for meniscus surgery at 6 a.m. Mady (my "Life-Saver") accompanied me and drove me back home after the surgery - without her it would have been much harder.
I was given quite strong medications afterwards, although I had hardly any pain.
But I’m fine: I already realize that I can build strength again – I would estimate that I am currently at about 60-70% of my normal strength.
Now rest, physical therapy and slow re-entry are on the plan. After all the - easier - injuries in the game operation was also slowly necessary to get a longer-term solution. Stay optimistic – from now on it goes uphill. 💪🙂
